A Coleraine business which started with one man and one desk is celebrating a major milestone this year, as JF Travel marks 10 years in business.

Founded by local travel specialist Jonny Fielding in 2016, JF Travel has grown considerably over the past decade and today operates four branches across Northern Ireland, supported by an experienced team with a shared passion for travel and customer service.

Jonny is also Chairman of Coleraine Connect, playing an active role in supporting and promoting Coleraine town centre and its business community - making this 10-year milestone particularly special for everyone at Coleraine Connect.

For Jonny, who has worked as a travel advisor in Coleraine for 15 years, the anniversary is an opportunity to reflect on just how far JF Travel has come.

“Where have the last 10 years gone? It’s hard to believe that JF Travel is officially celebrating 10 years in business,” said Jonny.

“What started with just me and one desk has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of - four branches across Northern Ireland and, most importantly, an amazing team who have helped make JF Travel what it is today.”

Built in Coleraine

Before establishing JF Travel, Jonny had already built up a loyal client base through his travel knowledge and commitment to providing a personal service.

In 2016, he took the decision to establish JF Travel Limited as an independent travel agency, joining the Global Travel Group and giving the business access to an extensive range of holidays and the buying power of one of the UK’s largest independent travel networks.

But despite the growth of the business, the ethos behind JF Travel has remained very much the same - providing customers with knowledgeable, professional and personal service when planning their holidays.

Jonny and his team bring together many years of experience within the travel industry, helping customers plan everything from family holidays and cruises to city breaks, luxury escapes and those once-in-a-lifetime adventures.

It is an approach which has resulted in customers returning year after year, and frequently recommending JF Travel to friends and family.

Ten Years of Holidays and Memories

Over the past decade, the travel industry has experienced some extraordinary highs and significant challenges, but JF Travel has continued to develop and grow.

Jonny added: “Over the last 10 years, we’ve been through it all. We’ve celebrated some huge wins, overcome plenty of challenges, made countless memories and helped thousands of customers book their dream holidays around the world.

“I honestly can’t thank everyone enough who has supported us along the way. Whether you’ve booked a holiday with us, recommended us to friends and family, voted for us, followed us on social media or simply supported the business, it all means more than you know.”

For Coleraine Connect, JF Travel’s anniversary is a fantastic example of a business which began right here in Coleraine, established strong local roots and has gone on to grow and succeed across Northern Ireland.

Jonny’s continued commitment to the town also extends beyond his own business through his role as Chairman of Coleraine Connect, where he works alongside fellow town centre traders to strengthen Coleraine, support its businesses, and encourage more people to visit, shop, and spend time in the town.

And while there is plenty to celebrate from the past decade, JF Travel is already looking towards its next chapter.

There is also a special anniversary surprise on the way, with the team preparing to announce its biggest giveaway yet as a thank you to customers for their support over the last 10 years.
