From adrenaline-fuelled BMX and scooter stunt shows to life-sized dinosaurs roaming the town centre, there's something for everyone as Coleraine Connect continues its packed programme of summer events.

Coleraine Connect is also delighted that the Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens, Councillor Dawn Huggins, will be joining the celebrations, with the Mayor set to attend both Thunder Action Sports on Saturday, August 1, and Jurassic Day with the Q Radio Roadshow on Saturday, August 15.

Thunder Action Sports - Saturday, August 1

Get ready for an afternoon of spectacular action as Thunder Action Sports arrives in Coleraine's Event Space with an electrifying live stunt show.

Featuring some of the UK's top BMX and scooter riders, the professional team will perform breathtaking tricks and gravity-defying aerial stunts on a purpose-built half-pipe, all set to a high-energy soundtrack with a live MC keeping the crowd entertained.

Whether you're a keen rider yourself or simply love watching incredible sporting talent, Thunder Action Sports promises an unforgettable experience for the whole family.

There will be four action-packed shows throughout the day at 12.40pm, 1.40pm, 2.40pm and 3.40pm, giving visitors plenty of opportunities to catch the thrills while enjoying everything Coleraine town centre has to offer.

It's the perfect excuse to spend the day shopping, grabbing a coffee or lunch, and soaking up the atmosphere in the town.

Jurassic Day Roars into Town - Saturday, August 15

Just two weeks later, Coleraine will be transformed into a prehistoric playground as Jurassic Day returns with even bigger attractions.

Visitors can come face-to-face with an incredible line-up of dinosaurs, including a towering 25-foot Triceratops, the fearsome 15-foot raptor Blue and a collection of adorable baby dinosaurs that are sure to delight younger visitors.

Adding to the excitement, Q Radio will be broadcasting live from the town centre with its popular Roadshow, bringing music, giveaways and plenty of entertainment throughout the afternoon.

There will also be free dinosaur-themed activities for families, including face painting, a fascinating fossil museum, dinosaur storytime at Waterstones and a free dinosaur selfie station at Snappy Snaps.

Itsy Bitsy Wonderland will also be joining in the dinosaur fun with a special themed breakfast and messy play session (booking required and charges apply).

With dinosaurs roaming the streets, live entertainment and activities taking place across the town centre, Jurassic Day promises to be one of the highlights of the summer.
