Get ready for a paw-some afternoon of family fun as Coleraine Connect's Big Bark Dog Show comes to the Event Space at The Diamond on Saturday, 18th July 2026.

There are 10 light-hearted competition categories, including Best In Show, so there’s plenty of chances for your pet to shine.

• Best Puppy (3–12 months)

• Golden Oldie (8 years and over)

• Waggiest Tail

• Best Rescue Dog

• Best Trick

• Best Dressed Dog

• Best Junior Handler (13 years and under)

• Best Small Dog

• Best Large Dog

• Best in Show

Whether you're entering your four-legged friend or simply coming along to enjoy the atmosphere, there's something for everyone. Hosted by the legendary Willie Gregg, the event also features live music from DJ Triggs and Jamie Sloan, face painting, balloon modelling and special appearances from Bluey and Marshall from Paw Patrol.

The top three dogs in every category will receive a rosette, a certificate, and a prize generously donated by local businesses.

Judging: 1pm – approximately 3pm

Entry: Free (first come, first served)

Important Information

To help everyone enjoy a safe and enjoyable event:

• All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

• Owners are responsible for ensuring their dogs are well-behaved and under control throughout the event.

• Please clean up after your dog immediately and dispose of waste responsibly.

• Entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis with a maximum of 10 dogs per class.
